MASTERPIECE CLASSIC - EMMA

Emma, by Jane Austen, is a comic novel about the perils of misconstrued romance. The novel was first published in December 1815. As in her other novels, Austen explores the concerns and difficulties of genteel women living in Georgian-Regency England; she also creates a lively 'comedy of manners' among her characters.

Weeds Intro - Malvina Reynolds

Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes all the same,
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And the people in the houses
All went to the university
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same
And there’s doctors and lawyers
And business executives
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And they all play on the golf course
And drink their martinis dry
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school,
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university
Where they are put in boxes
And they come out all the same.

And the boys go into business And marry and raise a famiy
In boxes made of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same,
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

Dynasty Season 1 Credits

The magical quality of this seriado DYNASTY, para mim, DYNASTY user words to take us to a place beyond words, where silence resides. E um seriado da decada de 80, vale ter paciencia e assistir. Confesso que nunca prestei muita a atencao, mais estou amando a serie, e tambem surpreso com todo o esplendor e producao. Indeed, I recognized for myself, DINASTY as the key to the jorney and dimension, perhaps with different words, by Masters of many traditions, no doubt a reflection of the timeless value of this seriado. I feel truly fascinating is how blessed we are to receive this videos, this videos has transformed their lives, as well as their relationship with themselves and others. For me it's a licao and companion for a lifetime.

Vale a pena assistir a serie!!!
Ah sim, tem a parte.: Dynasty : The Moldavian massacre. Vale a pena vasculhar na net os videos, uma cena forte.

DYNASTY - GAY SON

DYNASTY: The Tragic Love of Steven & Ted (1/20)

"Steven Carrington (Al Corley) returns home from New York to attend his father's wedding. Unbeknownst to him, Blake (John Forsythe) has already learned of his secret gay relationship.

These scenes are taken from the pilot episode of "Dynasty" which aired as a 3-hour movie event on January 12, 1981 on ABC.

According to an "Authorized Biography of the Carringtons" written by co-creator Esther Shapiro in 1984, the wedding takes place on Saturday, May 24, 1980.

The ABC television network was said to be very skittish about having a gay regular on the show.

Only a handful a shows had dared to do so before "Dynasty", including "The Corner Bar" (1972), "Hot L Baltimore" (1975), "The Nancy Walker Show" (1976) and "Soap" (1977)."

DYNASTY: The Love Story of Steven & Luke (2/15)

"Steven's mother Alexis (Joan Collins) sends the boys on a business trip to Santa Barbara, making Claudia anxious.

TRIVIA: The creators of 'Dynasty' originally conceived Steven Carrington as a gay man, but made him bisexual following pressure from the ABC TV network.

Al Corley, who originally played Steven, voiced his complaints about such direction for the character and, following a shouting match with Aaron Spelling's business partner, executive producer Douglas S.Cramer, got fired in early 1982.

He was replaced by Jack Coleman a year later. By late 1984 however the new socially conscious head writer Camille Marchetta came up with a new gay storyline for Steven."

DYNASTY: The Love Story of Steven & Luke (12/15)

"Steven invites Luke to his sister's wedding in Moldavia. Later, he makes an important decision about their relationship. But is it too little too late?

TRIVIA: The royal wedding episode of "Dynasty" was its 5th season finale cliffhanger which aired in May 1985.

The episode generated record audience of 60 million people in the US, its highest ever.

Unfortunately, things soon went downhill from there, as the show's departing head writer Camille Marchetta painted her successors into a corner.

The actors, who jokingly referred to the fictional kingdom as "Mold-damn-davia" were not happy about this episode's twist as most of their contracts were up for renewal.

This iconic episode of "Dynasty" was also its most infamous ever, many fans believe this may have been when the show "jumped the shark."

Actor John James (Jeff Colby) has said: "That's when we went completely over the top, we ODed on camp."

DYNASTY: The Love Story of Steven & Luke (14/15)

"Upon their return home, the family joins Steven as he bids Luke the final farewell.

Although it may appear the Steven and Luke storyline has now concluded, Luke's name will arise again in concluding moments of 'episode' 15, when it becomes apparent how much he has helped Steven grow.

Actor Kevin Conroy, who appears as Bart Fallmont, has been known in recent years as the voice of animated Batman."

DYNASTY: The Love Story of Steven & Luke (15/15)

Having learned a valuable lesson from Luke, Steven offers his friendship and support to a closeted politician.

*SPOILERS* As many 'Dynasty' storylines, especially the latter seasons' ones, the pairing of Steven and Bart didn't really go anywhere, as Bart's homosexuality ended up being exposed in the press by Adam, thus ending his political career. He leaves Denver and asks Steven to come with him, but Steven opts to stay.

Two years later, Steven himself leaves Denver (actor Jack Coleman went on to star in a theater play), following a string of celibate storylines (the writers allegedly made the character celibate following the 1985 Hollywood AIDS panic).

I ended this online series about Steven and Luke with the coupling of Steven and Bart because:

a) they do end up together - they are seen in the 1991 'Dynasty' reunion mini-series living happily together with Steven's son Danny in Washington,

b) Luke is mentioned in the final scene for the last time; he had helped Steven come to terms with himself.

DYNASTY: Steven & Bart Reunited (2/2)

"In the conclusion, Sammy Jo wants Danny back. Later, after Blake manages to beat the evil Consortium in court and get his company and property back, the family gathers at the mansion in Denver to celebrate.

The producers said at the time "The Reunion" mini-series was conceived to allow viewers who had never seen "Dynasty" before to understand the show.

Unfortunately, that also meant most of the cliffhangers the fans were waiting eagerly to see resolved were not even addressed.

How come Sammy Jo is back to her old evil ways after growing into a sensitive character? How come she is modeling again when she inherited a multi-million dollar horse-breeding business at Delta Rho? What happened to her relationship with a young priest?

Whatever happened to Dex, who apparently didn't fare too well? What happened to Sable and her baby? Why did Fallon break up with Zorelli and how did she get back together with Miles? Who was the mysterious limo lady to whom the crooked Captain Handler was reporting to?"
