WINE LOVER.: Château Trians Côteaux Varois 1999

1999 is a truly superb wine. Yields here are very low (30 hl per 2.5 acres). The wine is a blend of Syrah and Grenache and it spends 24 months in tuns (huge barrels) before being blended and bottled. This long stay in barrels gives depth and smoothness to the wine… a perfect wine to drink with steaks or barbecued meats. Chateau Trians 1999 is really delicious. We recommend it very highly, and we know that it will disappear very quickly.

Tasting Notes:
Deep garnet color; nose of garrigue, sandalwood and ripe red berries. Medium-bodied; very smooth; great balance; delicious aromas of overripe fruit and tobacco flavors. Great finish on red fruit and great texture. Can age 2 to 4 years.
